Live music

I’m Kristin Kalnapenk from Estonia, and I lead the band. My creative world is as wide-ranging as life itself: my lyrics and songs draw inspiration from ancient runic songs, proverbs, and prayer, while my pen inevitably finds its way to passionate love and merciless life lessons.

Jazz clubs

My sound draws from folk music alongside elements of jazz, including improvisation and altered harmony. Shaped by seven years of study at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, as well as my travels and collaborations in Spain and the United States, my musical world has gathered influences from both sides of the Atlantic. I brought quite a few things back from overseas: not the usual fridge magnets, but new ideas, cultural influences, and, apparently, a few forest spirits.
